Most of the world’s solar panels now come from a handful of Chinese companies. According to InfoLink Consulting, ranked module suppliers shipped about 536 GW in 2025, and the top four alone accounted for roughly 58% of that. For an importer, the hard part is not finding a Chinese panel supplier. It is telling apart the makers with real scale, independent reliability data and stable warranties from the thousands of trading names that sell the same-looking 600 W module.

Short answer: the top 10 solar panel manufacturers in China in 2026 are JinkoSolar, LONGi, Trina Solar, JA Solar, Tongwei, Astronergy, GCL SI, DMEGC Solar, DAS Solar and Yingli Solar. JinkoSolar and LONGi tied for first in 2025 shipments at 80 to 90 GW each, with Trina and JA Solar tied for third at 60 to 70 GW. Nine of the ten have at least one module listed as a Top Performer in the 2026 Kiwa PVEL Reliability Scorecard.

Last updated: October 2026. How we ranked them: the order follows InfoLink’s 2025 global module shipment ranking, limited to companies headquartered in mainland China. We then checked each maker’s current flagship datasheet, the 2026 Kiwa PVEL Scorecard and RETC’s 2026 PV Module Index. Canadian Solar, which tied for eighth in shipments, is headquartered in Canada and is not included. TCL Solar shared tenth place with DAS Solar and Yingli.

Profiles of the ten manufacturers

1. JinkoSolar

JinkoSolar tied with LONGi for the most module shipments in 2025, including output from its US factory. Its Tiger Neo 3.0 TOPCon module reaches 670 W and 24.8% efficiency in the 66-cell bifacial version, with 85±5% bifaciality and a −0.26%/°C temperature coefficient, which helps in hot climates. Jinko offers a 30-year power warranty with 0.35% annual degradation after year one. It is among the manufacturers with Top Performer models in seven or eight of the eight PVEL 2026 tests, and an Overall Highest Achiever in RETC’s 2026 index.

2. LONGi

LONGi is the leading Chinese supplier that does not rely on TOPCon for its flagship. The Hi-MO 9 uses HPBC 2.0 back-contact cells, with no busbars on the front, reaching up to 670 W and 24.8% efficiency. LONGi’s 2025 shipment total includes Illuminate USA, its US joint venture. Like Jinko, it has Top Performer models in seven or eight PVEL tests and is an RETC Overall Highest Achiever. Back-contact modules have a uniform appearance that suits visible rooftops as well as utility plants.

3. Trina Solar

Trina tied with JA Solar for third place in 2025. Its newest utility module, the Vertex N G3, uses i-TOPCon Ultra cells on 210 mm wafers to reach 760 W and 24.5% efficiency, with a low-voltage design that allows more panels per string and, Trina says, 2 to 3% lower LCOE. It carries a 12-year product and 30-year power warranty. Trina is a PVEL 2026 Top Performer and an RETC Overall Highest Achiever, and also runs a large storage and tracker business.

4. JA Solar

JA Solar’s DeepBlue 5.0 entered mass production in late 2025 at 640 to 670 W, with up to 24.8% efficiency and first-year degradation of 1% or less. Its 2025 shipments include output from American Panel Solutions, its US partnership with Corning. JA is both a PVEL 2026 Top Performer and an RETC Overall Highest Achiever.

5. Tongwei

Tongwei has ranked in the global top five for module shipments three years running and is also one of the largest polysilicon and cell producers. Its TNC 2.0 module TWMNF-66HD735, on 210 mm wafers, delivers 735 W at 23.7% efficiency. Tongwei has Top Performer models in seven or eight PVEL tests, and RETC named TW Solar an Overall Highest Achiever in 2026. Vertical integration from polysilicon to module gives it tight control of supply.

6. Astronergy

Astronergy, the module brand of CHINT New Energy, held sixth place in 2025. Its ASTRO N8 module uses TOPCon 5.0 cells on 210 mm wafers to reach 715 to 745 W and 24.0% efficiency, with a 15-year product warranty, longer than the 12 years most rivals offer on utility modules. Astronergy is a PVEL 2026 Top Performer. For buyers already using CHINT electrical products, it can simplify supplier management.

7. GCL SI

GCL System Integration is the module arm of GCL Group, a major polysilicon producer. Its GCL-N12/66GDF bifacial TOPCon module reaches 730 W and 23.5% efficiency. GCL ranked seventh in 2025 shipments and is listed among PVEL 2026 Top Performers. It also supplies battery storage and complete PV systems.

8. DMEGC Solar

DMEGC Solar belongs to the Hengdian Group DMEGC, a listed magnetics and materials company. It tied with Canadian Solar for eighth place in 2025. Its Infinity RT module reaches 640 W and 23.7% efficiency in a standard 2,382 × 1,134 mm size, which fits common mounting systems. DMEGC is a PVEL 2026 Top Performer.

9. DAS Solar

DAS Solar is one of the fastest-growing names on this list: InfoLink reported its module shipments up 30 to 40% year on year in the first half of 2025, and it tied for tenth place for the full year. Its D-Matrix TOPCon modules are rated at about 23.1 to 23.2% efficiency and up to 625 W. We did not find DAS Solar among the 2026 PVEL Top Performers, so ask for recent independent test reports for the exact bill of materials you are buying.

10. Yingli Solar

Yingli, based in Baoding, is one of China’s longest-established module brands and ranked in the global top ten again in 2025, tied for tenth. Its PANDA 3.0 PRO TOPCon module is rated up to 625 W and 22.4%, more modest on efficiency than the leaders. Its reliability record is strong: Yingli is a PVEL 2026 Top Performer and one of RETC’s 2026 Overall Highest Achievers.

How to choose a Chinese solar panel supplier

  • Check the exact model, not the brand. PVEL and RETC test specific bills of materials. A Top Performer listing for one model does not cover every product a company sells.
  • Read the certificate scope. IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 are the baseline. Your market may also need UL 61730, CEC listing, MCS, or a national certificate. Confirm the factory location on the certificate matches the one producing your order.
  • Compare efficiency and warranty, not just watts. Larger 210 mm modules give more watts per panel but need compatible mounting, inverters and handling equipment.
  • Ask about inspection. Pre-shipment electroluminescence (EL) imaging and power sampling catch cracked cells and under-rated panels before they leave China. The 2026 PVEL Scorecard reported that 87% of manufacturers had at least one test failure, so testing still matters with big brands.
  • Check trade rules for your market. US imports face forced-labour and foreign-entity rules, and the EU Forced Labour Regulation applies from December 2027. Ask suppliers for supply-chain traceability documents early.
  • Plan the rest of the system. Connectors, cables, combiner boxes and DC protection must match the module’s current and voltage. Ordering them together avoids mismatches on site.

ShineTong: solar panel supply and sourcing for B2B buyers

ShineTong is not on the list above, because we are not a module manufacturer. We are a solar panel supplier and sourcing partner: we help distributors, installers and EPC contractors buy modules from established Chinese manufacturers, and ship them with the balance-of-system products we already supply. What that means for a buyer:

  • Quality you can check. We work with manufacturers whose datasheets, IEC certificates and test reports we can put in front of you before you order. On request we arrange pre-shipment inspection, including EL imaging and power sampling, so problems are found at the factory, not on the roof.
  • Cost-effective buying. We match you with the right tier of supplier for the job, whether a tier-one brand for a bankable utility project or a qualified mid-size factory for price-sensitive rooftop work, and we compare quotations for the same specification so you are comparing like with like.
  • One container, one supplier. Panels can ship together with MC4 connectors, PV cable, combiner boxes, DC isolators and mounting hardware, which cuts freight cost and the number of suppliers you manage.
  • Professional, reliable matchmaking. Tell us your market, quantity, power class and certificates needed. We shortlist suitable factories, check that their documents match your market, and stay involved through production, inspection and shipping.
  • Clear documents. Every quotation names the module model, factory, certificates and warranty terms in writing. We do not publish prices; you receive a quotation for your specific order.
